Since its foundation in the fifties Danese Milano has been a company that gives value to space. It does so with a catalogue of disruptive objects. The spirit of the time and the centrality of the human being are reflected in the importance that the company assigns to the choice of authors it involves.
The quality of the materials it applies and the synthesis of forms achieved so far transcend seasonality. The creation of archetypes for the home and the office as well as the desire to design contemporary objects whose innovation is not diluted in the course of history is the furrow that Carlotta de Bevilacqua, unique administrator of Danese Milano since 1999, continues to trace, choosing to give back perspective without nostalgia to an historic company of the Italian design.
The story of Danese Milano is a narration of material culture, suggested functions, discreet pedagogies and practical beauty.
Laboratorio Pesaro
Since 1961, Laboratorio Pesaro has been producing design furniture elements using a ceramic material with high mechanical and aesthetic performance: stoneware.
Since its foundation, Laboratorio Pesaro has focused on ‘design’ as the predominant value of its corporate strategy. This has resulted in constant research on the functionality and simplicity of shapes as ‘innovation and counterbalances to the most widespread aesthetic values and ‘habits’ of the society of the time.

Guastalla is a 3D printed clay vase, inspired by the nursery school “The Whale” in Guastalla, Reggio Emilia – Italy. The body of the vase recalls the sinuous shapes of the school and is created by rotating and vertically translating the cross section of the building. 3D clay printing is a completely innovative. The shapes are created layer by layer through the LDM process. The clay is then subjected to an opaque black crystalline finish which gives it the final colour and protects the material, making it also suitable for contact with food.

Guastalla è un vaso in argilla stampato in 3D, ispirato al nido d’infanzia “La Balena” di Guastalla, Reggio Emilia. Il corpo del vaso richiama le forme sinuose della scuola ed è realizzato ruotando e traslando verticalmente la sezione trasversale dell’edificio. La stampa 3D dell’argilla è del tutto innovativa. Le forme vengono create strato per strato attraverso il processo LDM. L’argilla viene poi sottoposta a una finitura cristallina nera opaca che le conferisce il colore finale e protegge il materiale, rendendolo adatto anche al contatto con gli alimenti.

La Tavola Etrusca Zoon si ispira ai manufatti etruschi ed è composta da piatti in gres porcellanato bianco, bicchieri e brocche in cristallo sabbiato extrachiaro blu e posate in ottone. Vari animali ispirati alle pitture etrusche decorano il fondo dei piatti. I bicchieri e le brocche si distinguono per il loro design essenziale – basato sulla semplicità del cilindro – e per i colori neutri. Le posate richiamano i manufatti etruschi e presentano manici sottili.

Centrotavola realizzato in argilla stampata in 3D, ispirato alle forme del pavimento piano ipogeo del Museo d’Arte Fondazione Luigi Rovati – Milano. La forma circolare viene riproposta nei tratti sinuosi che caratterizzano MCV. La stampa 3D dell’argilla è una tecnologia completamente innovativa e sperimentale per le sfide che comporta la creazione di volumi con materiali fluidi e densi: le forme vengono create strato per strato attraverso il processo LDM. L’argilla viene poi sottoposta a una finitura cristallina nera opaca che le conferisce il colore finale e protegge il materiale.
