Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, Artemide is based in Pregnana Milanese, Italy. It is one of the most known illumination brands in the world. Known for its “The Human Light” philosophy, Artemide boasts high skills in light design and innovation, with products originating from research and high-quality manufacturing. The Artemide Lamps are considered on an international level as Design Icons of contemporary design; they are exhibited in most museums of modern art and design collections.
Lucifero's
Lucifero’s is the story of a family who, with insight and determination, founded a small company in 1978 in Bologna, where still today it operates. Now this small company has become a leader in the production of equipment for high quality architectural lighting, completely “made in Italy”. At Lucifero’s, the design of the product is aimed at harmoniously suiting the light fixture to the surrounding architecture, not only in the phisical sense, but in the material sense as well. Based on the conviction that lighting should be at the service of architecture, at Lucifero’s they are more interested in the function and the visual tasks that the fixture has to perform, rather than the design if the object itself.

Trilix is a family of indoor and outdoor lamps with a lightweight structure consisting of three elements that intertwine, giving stability and support to a flat disc with a ring of direct light that diffuses softly into the surrounding environment.
The light head concentrates the light downwards in a controlled, non-dazzling way that is also open so that it generates a large space of light.
Trilix, from the Latin for 3 threads, refers to the weave of three intertwined threads which, in the tradition of the ancient Romans, guaranteed great strength.
Their interweaving enables the structure to be slim and open, and to interact with the natural setting into which it is inserted as a regular geometry that looks dynamic from different perspectives and recalls the natural growth of interweaving branches.
The outdoor version has a base, to ensure it is correctly fixed to the ground and to support climbing plants as they grow, whilst the indoor version is even more[...] minimal, resting only on the three rods that stabilise the structure.

Trilix è una famiglia di lampade per interni ed esterni con una struttura leggera, composta da tre elementi che si intrecciano per dare stabilità e supporto ad un disco piatto con un anello di luce diretta che si diffonde morbidamente nell’ambiente circostante.
La testa luminosa concentra l’emissione verso il basso, in modo controllato e non abbagliante ma aperto per generare un ampio spazio di luce.
Trilix, dal latino 3 fili, rimanda alla trama di tre fili intrecciati che nella tradizione degli antichi romani garantiva una grande forza.
Questo intreccio consente di avere una struttura sottile ed aperta, che interagisce con la natura in cui si inserisce. È una geometria regolare che dalle diverse prospettive risulta dinamica e ricorda la crescita na[...]turale di un intreccio di rami.
La versione da esterni ha una base per assicurare un corretto fissaggio al terreno e per supportare la crescita delle piante rampicanti, mentre la versione da interni è ancora più minimale, poggiando solo sui tre tondini che stabilizzano la struttura.

Flexia è un gioco di percezioni tra il visibile, materico e colorato, e l’invisibile che diventa luce. Flexia è un sistema di sospensione modulare di grande impatto visivo che si ispira all’arte giapponese degli origami. Con il suo design versatile e leggero, si inserisce trasversalmente in tutti quegli ambienti in cui è necessario garantire un miglior benessere acustico e visivo, dagli uffici open space agli hotel.

Katà Métron finds inspiration in the relationship that lies at the heart of art, architecture and philosophy: measurement. The Greek expression “katà métron” means “according to right measure”. With this expression, the original Greek philosophical thought referred to the attitude of those who know how to take care of themselves. Greek architecture adopts a construction logic based on the idea of “module”, that is the single element which creates the measure of the whole. It is the concept of order as a sequence of repeated elements. Finally, art is the union of philosophy and architecture. Katà Métron combines simplicity, functionality and aesthetics. Innovation, culture of the project and shared commitment towards the creation of products that are increasingly sustainable and attentive to the use of the limited resources of our planet, lead to an innovative and surprising solution. Mario Cucinella has designed an object in which the modular light elements can create an[...] infinite number of combinations and shapes, allowing the design of lighting scenarios that are tailored with respect to the spaces and to the needs of the activities that take place in them.

Katà Métron trova ispirazione nel rapporto alla base tra arte, architettura e filosofia: la misura. L’espressione greca “katà métron” significa “secondo la giusta misura”. Con questa espressione, il pensiero filosofico greco originario si riferiva all’atteggiamento di chi sa prendersi cura di sé. L’architettura greca adotta una logica costruttiva basata sull’idea di “modulo”, cioè del singolo elemento che crea la misura dell’insieme. È il concetto di ordine come sequenza di elementi ripetuti. Infine, l’arte è l’unione di filosofia e architettura. Katà Métron unisce semplicità, funzionalità ed estetica. Innovazione, cultura del progetto e impegno condiviso verso la creazione di prodotti sempre più sostenibili e attenti all’utilizzo delle risorse limitate del nostro pianeta, portano a una soluzione innovativa e sorprendente.
