Redevelopment and expansion of the residential complex A.L.E.R

MCA won the public competition for the redevelopment and expansion of a residential area of approximately 3,500 m2 in Milan, on via Russoli. It will consist of "microvillages" of student residences. The residences, constructed with a prefabricated wood building system, will be superimposed on 4 towers of eight stories each. The intervention will make the buildings more energy efficient, healthier and safer, integrating new features and new spaces for collective use.
