We are excited to have been shortlisted with two projects for The World Architecture Festival 2019,  one of the most prestigious events dedicated to the architecture and development industry.

MC A has been shortlisted for Museo Rovati in the category “Future Project – Culture”. The project hosts a collection of Etruscan vases, rehabilitating an existing building in the heart of Milan with  a new and unique underground evocative expansion; “a wonderful story where architecture becomes the protagonist. Not just an archaeological collection, nor just a container but a true architectural work that dialogues with history”. The projects continues with two additional expansions: the renovation of the nineteenth-century Bocconi-Rizzoli-Carraro palace and the large garden at the rear of the property, which the client has decided to return to its original character, with the intent of protecting tree species of historical value, emphasizing the harvest aspect that the garden manifests to visitors from the main entrance hall of the palace.

MET Tirana Building has been shortlisted in the category “future Project – Residential” . The project is an innovative high density building, inspired by the architectural style of Berat, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The project is currently under construction, and it is designed to have a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape that offers maximum permeability to the pedestrian, freeing up a substantial share of land area to the citizens to use and enjoy. The volume of the new building is designed to accommodate 12-story tower residences. Outside the large volume of the residential tower, a series of terraces and green diaphragms are designed to equip every dwelling with outdoor areas of high quality. the building reflects a very organic image, redefining the paradigm of compact and massive monumentality that characterizes the residential and specialist high-density building recently built in the center of Tirana.
