The selections are open at the 6th edition of SOS – School of Sustainability,the Practice Academy founded by Mario Cucinella
Bologna, January 2019 – SOS – School of Sustainability is the post graduate program founded by Mario Cucinella within the architectural firm MC Architects, committed to training a new generation of professionals in the field of sustainability, to tackle the global challenges seen from the perspective of the economy, the environment and the society. School of Sustainability is not a traditional school, but a training and creative platform where to build a shared culture of sustainability and where projects are meant to have a positive impact on society, the economy and the environment. School of Sustainability is open to recent graduates and professionals in the fields of architecture, engineering and other related disciplines. It offers a full-time 10-month experience and a pioneering program that trains professionals with specialised skills in the field of sustainability, with a vision of the future.
You can apply to participate in the sixth cycle, starting in October 2019, by directly uploading your portfolio, the CV and the motivation letter on the website www.schoolofsustainability.it. The deadlines for submitting applications are:
- First round – 31 January
- Second round – 31 March
- Third round – 31 May
School of Sustainability collaborates with institutional, educational, industrial and professional partners including UNHCR, Legambiente, Symbola, Foundation for Urban Innovation (FIU), Dubai Municipality, Architectural Association (UK), Eni Gas e Luce, Iris Group , ARUP, Transsolar. Thanks to the SOS network, students have the opportunity to work on real projects in complex areas and on emerging sustainability issues such as community development, urban and environmental regeneration, and the design of buildings of the next generation.
