INES – New headquarters of the Institut National de l’Energie Solaire

Ex aequo winner project of an invited competition for a new research center organized by the Departement de Savoie.

The public building – which occupies an area of 5,000 square meters – represents a dynamic mechanism, an active filter that combines active and passive bioclimatic strategies with a efficient engineering plant capable of ensuring minimal impact on the environment and maximum comfort in the interiors. The roof, comprising a series of chimneys, acts as climate moderator that filters the natural light and allows air to circulate.
